More introductions

Kristen Murphy

Hello ladies!  I'm so excited to be joining you on this journey.  I got involved with this study through my friend April Hoffmeister.  April and I met in Memphis, TN and have continued our friendship as we now live in different states.  Currently, I live in Oklahoma City, OK with my husband Mike. An interesting fact about myself, I love to bake and sample cupcakes!!!!

Kara Granadino
Hello everyone, Christine and I met when I  became her Hairstylist.  I have lived in Mahomet for 9 years.  My husband Greg and I have been married 11 years in September.  We have three kids, Gage 9, Kenadi 6 and Kalista 3.  As I mentioned before I am a hairstylist at Images downtown Mahomet.  I am also a nurse and have worked in several different areas over the last 10 years.  I currently work for Jeremy (Christine's husband) at his laser clinic in Paxton.  I enjoy reading, spending time with friends and family, and shopping!
April Hoffmeister
I am currently a stay-at home mom with two children, Grafton (6) & Avery (4).  My husband, Dean, and I have been married for almost 10 years.  I am very thankful that I have been able to stay home with my kids for the past three years.  My educational background is in mathematics.  I have mostly taught courses at the college-level, but I have also been a high school teacher.  I enjoy spending time with my family & friends, searching for antiques, making jewelry, reading, baking, and exercising.  I look forward to learning more about each of you through this experience.

2nd set of introductions

Lindsey Minnick
Christine and I became friends through our kids. I have two daughters, Lauren who is 9 and Marin who just turned 5. My husband and I own 3 restaurants in Champaign and Mahomet which he runs. My daytime job is working as a pharmaceutical representative with Johnson & Johnson.

Callie Collins
Hi Ladies!  I am a friend of Christine's, from Mahomet.  I'm married to Chad, and we have 2 little girls.  Addison (6) has just started first grade, and Brodie (2) is my little side kick.  I'm a stay-home mom, and I have an www.etsy.com web business where I sell the most successful of my creations for my girls.  My husband's job creates a unique dynamic for our family.  It requires lots of travel as he is the head of sales for his company for the Caribbean and Latin America.  The toughest parts of this are the long weeks where the girls and I are alone, the perks are the times when we (or just me!) get to travel with him.  He and I leave for Panama this Friday.  I have participated in a couple of Christine's online studies now, and I really enjoy the format.  I'm looking forward to learning together.
Emily Tira
Hi! My name is Emily Tira. In June of 2000, I married my high school sweetheart, Brian who works for State Farm in Bloomington, IL. We have three great kids: Lillian (7), Ellis (5) and Claire (3). Although I have held several positions in the field of Special Education, I currently hold the title of stay-at-home mom, quite possibly the most important, rewarding, exhausting, and difficult job I have ever had or ever will have. I love the white sand beaches, traveling and spending time with family at "home" in Coal City, IL. When I grow up, I want to play the violin. I am really excited to develop some new friendships with you all and see what God has in store for me/us in this study.

Start of Introductions

I am going to start putting introductions on the blog a few at a time when I have a free minute - enjoy getting to know each other!  Hope you are getting excited to study John - for a sneak peek look at John 20:30-31 where John states his purpose in writing this book - that we "may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God AND that by believing you may have life in His name." Start to ponder what it means to believe that Jesus is Christ and what it means to have life in His name.

Julie Webb
Hello ladies! I'm looking forward to doing this bible study with you and getting to know you a little bit through it. I am Christine's aunt and love that she's doing this for us. I am married to Bill, a construction worker, and we have four kids, the youngest who is starting her second year at the university of Pittsburgh. So we are learning the beginnings of being empty nesters. I work at an alternative school her in southeastern PA as a counselor for at risk teenagers, so regularly feel wiped out and in need of some spiritual refreshment! Cheers!
April Augsburger
I'm a first year school social worker at Garfield Elementary in Danville. I am looking forward to the experiences and challenges ahead. I'm going on year #3 of living in Champaign. My family is my biggest fan :) And I also love all the family I have here in Champaign!

Allyson Sanborn
I have been married for 11 years to my best friend, Sky.  We have two awesome daughters, Averhy (7) and Eden (4). I feel so blessed to have the best of 2 worlds - I'm a stay-at-home mom most of the time, but I also run my own photography business. In my "free time" (whatever that is!!), I enjoy singing on the praise team at our church, getting fit at CrossFit C-U, and just spending time with friends. I'm looking forward to this study and growing closer to God while developing friendships with other godly women!
